Powerful encouragement and instruction. 2 Timothy 2:14-18  Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.  15)  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  16)  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.  17)  And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;  18)  Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.  So far in chapter two, Paul has exhorted Timothy to remain strong by depending upon the grace of God.  Then, the apostle gave Timothy a solemn charge to teach the necessary spiritual disciplines for the next generation of church leaders. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.  Joh 18:6  As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.  Joh 18:7  Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.  Joh 18:8  Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, l
